Acceptance

By accessing or using FavePoke, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

FavePoke provides free, fan-made tools that organize, analyze, or generate Pokémon-related information. The public competitive Team Builder, Playthrough Team Planner, Random Pokémon Generator, Who's That Pokémon game, format guides, and curated team guides are provided for planning, education, and entertainment. Features, supported formats, datasets, and pages may be added, changed, suspended, or removed without notice.

Unofficial Fan-Made Status

FavePoke is independent and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., Pokémon Showdown, or Smogon.

Pokémon names, characters, artwork, and related franchise materials belong to their respective owners. FavePoke does not grant you rights to reuse those materials. See Credits and Data Sources for additional attribution.

Permitted Use

You may use FavePoke for lawful personal, educational, and community purposes. You agree not to:

• Disrupt, overload, probe, scrape at a harmful rate, or bypass the service or its security controls.
• Use automated requests at a rate or in a manner that harms availability for other visitors.
• Introduce malware, harmful code, spam, deceptive links, or unlawful content.
• Misrepresent FavePoke as an official Pokémon, Pokémon Showdown, or Smogon service.
• Copy or republish protected data, artwork, site content, or code without the permission required by its applicable owner or license.
• Use the service to violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, consumer-protection, or other laws.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, configuration, storage, or data.

Reasonable linking to FavePoke pages and sharing a team URL through normal community discussion are permitted.

Teams, Nicknames, and Shared URLs

You are responsible for team names, Pokémon nicknames, imported text, and any other text you enter. Do not enter confidential information or content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or intended to impersonate another person.

A share URL can contain an encoded copy of the complete team draft. Anyone with the URL may view and redistribute that information, and third-party platforms may create previews or retain the link. FavePoke does not promise that a shared URL will remain private, permanent, or compatible with future versions.

Curated team pages are editorial examples. They may change as formats, data, or community practice evolve and are not endorsements of a particular player or tournament result unless the page explicitly identifies a source.

Community Data, Validation, and Recommendations

The competitive builder uses versioned Pokémon Showdown-derived catalogs and, for supported formats, Smogon usage-statistics snapshots. Those sources are maintained by their respective communities, can change independently, and may contain errors or omissions. A FavePoke snapshot can lag behind a recent rule, game, simulator, or statistics update.

Format checks, compatibility checks, role labels, type analysis, speed tiers, generated teammates, common sets, and curated examples are planning aids. They do not constitute official tournament rulings, guaranteed simulator acceptance, rankings, coaching, or a promise of battle performance. Before entering an event, check the current official rules and validate the exported team on the platform where it will be played.

Usage data describes a historical battle sample and does not prove that a Pokémon, item, move, or team is optimal. Generated and editorial results require the user's judgment.

Accounts and Paid Features

The public Pokémon tools do not require an account. If optional account, subscription, credit, or payment features are offered and you use them, you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, providing accurate information, and all activity performed through your account. Additional checkout or provider terms may apply. Notify us through a verified channel if one is published and you suspect unauthorized access.

Third-Party Services and Links

FavePoke may link to, use data from, or load optional services operated by third parties. Their products, sites, datasets, and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, content, security, or practices.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, FavePoke is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, data accuracy, continued compatibility, format legality, ranking improvement, tournament results, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FavePoke and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, community data, generated results, exports, or third-party services.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, infrastructure, rights holders, or legal compliance.

Changes

We may update these terms as FavePoke changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
