Game plan

How the six slots work together

Sinistcha redirects while Sneasler or Gholdengo establishes pressure. Incineroar and Staraptor rotate Intimidate, and Garchomp supplies fast spread damage when the board is safe. Choose Staraptor as the Mega only in matchups where its flying pressure is decisive.

  • Mega Staraptor or Garchomp closes once steel and rock checks are weakened.

Watch for

  • Spread attacks bypass Rage Powder.
  • The roster needs disciplined Protect use because several slots prefer attacking moves.

Possible replacements

  • Farigiraf can replace Staraptor for priority denial and Trick Room.
  • Whimsicott can replace Incineroar for direct Tailwind.
